Splice
Draw a line between each matching pair until no square is left uncovered.
What it is
one line per pair
Pairs of coloured ends on a square grid. Drag from one end to its partner and the line follows one square at a time; lines cannot cross, and the board is done only when every pair is joined and every square is covered. Each board has exactly one way it all fits, worked out rather than guessed. There are no lives: the count is drags, and par is one drag per line.
No tile of its own: it lives on The Annex, with its family, and keeps its own address, records and saves.
How to play
Controls, then the numbers that matter
Drag across another line and you cut it back to just before that square, but another pair's end is a wall.
Start from an end to lay that line again, or from the middle of a line to carry on from there. Drag back over your own line to pull it in.
A press that never leaves its square changes nothing and costs no drag.
Finish in no more drags than there are lines, with no hint, for ONE DRAG EACH. Undo gives the drag back, and C clears every line in a way undo can reverse.
Boards are 6×6, 7×7, 8×8, 9×9 and 10×10 with 3, 3, 2, 1 and 0 hints; the bigger boards join their pieces into fewer, longer lines, and Ultra Hard's are the longest in the game. A hint shows a line that has to go where it goes, and why.
Once you have spliced a board, the menu offers today's board: one Medium board, the same for everyone that day, new at midnight Taipei time (UTC+8). It keeps its own record and never touches your levels. Finish it and COPY RESULT copies one plain line: the date, your drags against the lines and hints, and your time. From your second board on a difficulty, the result also names your fastest there, or how far off it this one was.
