Mains
Pipe tiles turn a quarter at a time, clockwise only; the board is done when every pipe meets another and all of it runs back to the copper mains.
What it is
every pipe to the mains
A grid of pipe tiles, most of them turned out of place. Tap a tile to turn it a quarter clockwise; the board is done when every pipe meets a pipe on the next tile, none points off the edge, and every tile is joined back to the copper disc, the mains. Pipe the mains reaches lights up as you go. Exactly one arrangement works, and it can be worked out without a guess.
No tile of its own: it lives on The Annex, with its family, and keeps its own address, records and saves.
How to play
Controls, then the numbers that matter
Tiles only turn clockwise, so par is exact: the sum of the quarter turns each tile still needs. Finish within it, without a hint, for IN PAR.
Hold a tile for 0.45 seconds, or right-click it, to pin it; do it again to let it go. A pinned tile refuses to turn, and pinning is free and never an undo step.
A hint turns one tile to where it belongs by the short way round, pins it, and says why.
Undo gives a turn back, and R starts the board again in a way undo can reverse.
Boards are 5×5, 7×7, 9×9, 11×11 and 13×13 with 3, 3, 2, 1 and 0 hints. Medium always needs a turn ruled out because it would close a loop; Extra Hard, a group that would seal itself off; Ultra Hard, that idea a dozen times over.
Once you have connected a board, the menu offers today's board: one Medium board, the same for everyone that day, new at midnight Taipei time (UTC+8). It keeps its own record and never touches your levels. Finish it and COPY RESULT copies one plain line: the date, your turns against par and hints, and your time. From your second board on a difficulty, the result also names your fastest there, or how far off it this one was.
