Word Salad
It asks for a colour, an animal, a made-up word — then shows you the story you just wrecked.
What it is
blind mad libs, screenshot it
Pick one of 88 stories and it asks you for 12–16 words one at a time — a colour, an animal, a made-up word — while keeping the story itself hidden. Fill the last box and the whole passage animates in with your words picked out, then a canvas renderer turns it into a poster you can save as PNG or JPG. Once you've finished a story, the menu adds Today's story: one of the 88, the same for everyone that day, turning over at midnight Taipei time with its title kept back until the end. The grid ticks every story you've made.
How to play
Controls, then the numbers that matter
Be specific — "penguins" beats "animal". The 734-word fallback pool across 31 categories is all concrete for the same reason.
83 of the 88 stories reuse one of your words later, and 43 reuse one three or more times, so a throwaway answer comes back.
Leaving a box blank isn't a skip — it silently rolls a word from that category, so you can dice-roll an entire story.
The save sheet has 6 shapes (1080 square up to a 1500x500 banner), 8 colours plus 3 you earn (chalk at 10 different stories, newsprint at 7 daily stories, foil at all 88), and highlight/underline/plain styling — all drawn on canvas, no fonts or images fetched.
It rewrites a/an to match the word you typed and strips a duplicate article, so "a {animal}" never reads "a a badger".
Today's story deals all 88 once in each 88-day round, and a story never comes back sooner than 45 days. Copy it and the text starts with the date, so friends can line up what they each wrote; days played and your best run are kept, and a missed day takes nothing away.
The grid ticks every story you've made and counts them. Surprise me deals one you haven't made until you've made all 88, and keeps today's story back until you've done it.
